Although Rebecca Minkoff, the late 20s designer behind the brand by her own name, is revered by the small group of bag-a-holics who have discovered her creations, most women have never even heard of her, even if they've admired her bags in the past.
Just a little history...Minkoff's first bag was designed for an actress friend to carry in a movie. The bag, named the Morning After Bag is the most famous of the Rebecca Minkoff line and has inspired a number of similar designs such as the Morning After Mini (MAM), the Morning After Mini Mini (MAMM), and the Morning After Clutch (MAC).
Featured below, the Morning After Bag line has a classic-style handbag in a size for all shoppers: the Morning After Mini is 20% smaller than the MAB, and the Morning After Mini is 20% smaller than the MAM (from personal experience, I can tell you that the MAMM actually looks and feels even smaller when you carry it).

Just to look at some additional styles, here is the Devote Tote, a belted hobo that comes with or without studs. I love this bag and have one in gray; it fits so much and has a large number of pockets for organizing accessories.

Next, let's take a look at the Nikki and Mini Nikki, Minkoff's popular hobo-style bags.

And now for the famous Morning After Clutch.

The advertising strategy for this brand was a great one. Minkoff sent samples of her bags to celebrities who spend a lot of time being photographed, using them as free advertising. A number of these celebrities have been seen carrying a variety of different Rebecca Minkoff styles, including Blake Lively, Lauren Conrad, Resse Witherspoon, and Lindsay Lohan. Minkoff's designs have been featured on shows such as "The Hills" and Gossip Girl on a consistent basis as well.

The bags leather bags range from roughly $300 to $600 depending on the style, season, and leather. There is a large resale market on the internet for them as well. Recently, Minkoff's bags were sold at great prices in a NYC Sample Sale, which takes place twice each year. Similar sales will take place in San Francisco and LA, as well as online. In the past Washington D.C. has also played host to one of the fabulous sales as well.
