This might be one of the cutest and easiest ways to spruce up a pair of cutoffs. I love wearing denim shorts in the summer, but the cutoffs I make can often be tight and unflattering on my legs. I found this picture on Pinterest, one of my favorite websites of all time.

This look is absolutely adorable, and very easy to achieve! All you need are a pair of denim shorts, two pieces of lace or two doilies, scissors, and a needle and some light-colored thread.
First, use the scissors to carefully rip the outer seams of your shorts about three inches or your desired length. Turn shorts inside out, and arrange and trim the lace until you get your desired look. Finally, use a simple back stitch to secure the lace to the shorts, and voilà! You have some adorable new shorts for spring and summer.
