Completing the Pretty Little Liars series of blogs, we have Emily.  Sporty and smart, Emily keeps her clothes simple and fresh. Her sporty frame allows her to wear short skirts and skinny jeans with ease.  Large shirts compliment her tight pants and skirts, creating a nice dynamic. Emily has a really pretty skin tone which looks great paired with pastels, whites, and magentas.  Sometimes a pop of color will be paired with a jean jacket or cardigan. Unlike Hanna and Aria, Emily often does not wear heels. However, her boots are flawless for her shape and bide will with skinny jeans. Emily's nails are also painted light colors as opposed to the dark shades seen on Aria. Despite being a swimmer, Emily manages to keep her hair long, shiny, and subtly wavy; either down or in a ponytail. Those wishing to dress like Emily should keep their clothes fresh, clean, and simple. Short skirts and skinny jeans welcome.

Hanna is my favorite Pretty Little Liar.  She's not afraid to dress fiercely and glamorously in any given situation, after overcoming her past insecurities.  Also, her hair in the latter half of season-two is completely flawless. I'm still working on ways to replicate her voluminous waves.

Hanna can switch between wearing form-flattering dresses and some really loose fitting tunics and large-tops.  Gold necklaces are often seen, adding a delicate touch to the ensemble.  As a popular girl in school, Hanna is expected to dress flawlessly and does not disappoint.  Hanna has a lot of heart, and it shows in the color choices of her outfits.  Generally, her outfits have rich colors which seem carefully chosen to match her accessories.  Hair is always flawless and is usually in some form wavy or curled, although sometimes it may be straight and in a high ponytail.  Makeup consists of dark eyeliner and mascara with some dark shading around the eye, contrasting and highlighting her light blue eye color.

Ah, Spencer, the Yale-bait of the Pretty Little Liars foursome. The next few blogs will be dedicated to wearing out Pretty Little Liars fashion in honor of all those who will be in denial of the the show's hiatus until June. (June!??! C'mon ABC family!) Anywho, Spencer's family is pretty wealthy despite the fact that they are all discombobulated as poop behind the scenes at the country club.  Spencer's family encourages perfection and nothing less, which shows in Spencer's outfit choices.

As class President, Spencer carries herself in a dignified manner and often wears mature colors such as dark blues, off-whites, and blacks or dark grays.  Delicate, long necklaces work well on her tall frame. Often times Spencer is seen wearing the traditional button-up shirt with some added feminine touches. Hats, headbands, and flawless braids often bring life to her Ivy-league style. In certain flashbacks, Spencer is seen dawning thick-rimmed hipster glasses, which made her look like an adorable little over-achiever. Also, since Spencer's family is well off she can afford name brands and quality, professional outfits. Her makeup is natural and simple.

If you wish to dress in Spencer-style but can't afford the top-notch brands (who can?) go for clean cut tops and dresses that don't fit too tight.  Straight leg pants and capris highlight long legs well. Spencer doesn't wear heels as often as the other girls, and instead reaches for oxford style shoes or flats.

While many college students have spent their spring breaks enjoying recreational activities in the sun, I spent mine on the couch. OK, I've reached the realization that I just spent my only vacation until summer break sitting on my bum. Hey, guys, it's alright! I was watching "Pretty Little Liars"!

I didn't actually start watching Pretty Little Liars until spring break this year. I told myself all I was going to do was watch one episode, just to see what all the hype is about. In short, I ended up watching every episode of "Pretty Little Liars" ever made, in sequential order. This show is addicting, people.

Since I happen to be all caught up with the show right in time for a nice, giant hiatus, I figure I'll let out my slightly obsessive fan tendencies with some "retty Little Liar" themed "Wear It Out" blogs! Let the party ensue!

Out of the four girls, Aria's fashion is the most unique.  Her outfits are never boring and often have funky patterns or textures. Aria's color scheme tends to lean towards the dark side, which compliments her long, dark hair and super smokey eyes nicely.  Maroons, magentas, reds, browns, and blacks are often seen.  Since Aria is petite in height and stature she pulls off heels seamlessly.  Dresses or skirts with patterned tights are often worn, seldom is there a wardrobe piece which is simplistic or boring. Aria clearly harnesses her creative tendencies through her outfits and accessories, little Smashionistas who wish to dress in Aria's fashion should be fearless in their patterns and textures.

In one episode Aria mentions that "vintage is her middle name." She doesn't slip over to Hollister to pick up a white T-shirt that with a name brand on it. Be creative, be bold, and put some soul into your outfit! Aria's outfits have a lot of character because she finds pieces that are unique and interesting.

Aside from clothing, Aria's hair is usually in loose, shiny waves or curls either down or in a ponytail.  However, she isn't afraid to wear cute headbands and switch things up. Makeup generally consists of a super smokey eye with smoke emphasis on the sides and bottoms of her eyes.

Put. The slushy. Down.

Today, we will be exploring the fashion of Glee's sassiest singer. Between her power notes and insulting quips the character of Santana has built herself an impressive wardrobe. When not flaunting her Cheerios uniform Santana can be seen wearing bright colors paired with sharp blacks or whites. This character's unapologetic fashion mixes youth with glamour, fitting in quite nicely alongside the other outfits of the charmingly dressed songbirds. So, you want to parade around in Santana-inspired outfits?

Santana is not afraid to wear what she wants, and that means lace, fur, and bright colors. Youthful colors, such as pink, green, and yellow, in particular are seen. These colors are, more often than not, broken up with blocks of plain black pieces of clothing, or stripes. Of course, Santana also comes from a background of money and is compelled to wear high society and quality versions of the average sweater dress or jean jacket. Her tendency to wear diamonds or fur, again, hints at her compulsion to highlight her wealth. Aside from her financial standings, Santana's outfits also tell us of her inner rockstar. Frequently wearing leather jackets and fringed shirts or accessories, Santana can have soul. On her sassier days you'll see Santana in heels and heeled boots. While Santana dresses in vibrant colors, her outfits reflect a maturity and old class at times.  Below are three sassy and classy dress ensambles inspired by Santana.
