You Can Watch Me Walk

As I work my way through the stages of my breakup, which some of you may have read about in some of my latest entries, I have been listening to a lot of music. Many genres -- sad songs, happy songs, angry songs -- you get the picture. I discovered Kellie Pickler's "Red High Heels" and have decided to sort of adopt it as my anthem. I can relate to sitting around, trying to figure someone out for way too long and the need to go shopping. After my wallowing, I decided I needed to do some shopping and what better thing to shop for than red high heels?

Shopping for heels is sort of struggle for me because I am 5'10" and have size 10/11 feet. Big feet can make it hard to find shoes, but I was on a mission so I pushed forward in my search. It became a measure of pride.

Here are some shoes that I found and am still in the process of deciding which pair is me. I am leaning towards the pair on the right. Thoughts?

All of these heels are under $40 and I found them on Google shopping. If I get them, I can go out wearing them and remember that I am more than this breakup, I am still me. To me, these shoes say confidence and style.

This is the song that will be playing in my head the first time that I wear them and if you haven't heard it, YouTube it, even if country music is not your thing. Every girl needs a pair of shoes that makes her feel as amazing as she is.

"Oh, you can watch me walk if you want to, want to
I bet you want me back, now don't you, don't you?
I'm about to show you just how missin' me feels, in my red high heels
In my red high heels, in my red high heels"
