December has come and with it…60-70 degree weather in Miami. It may seem impossibly warm, but it is actually unusually chilly for December in Miami. We even had a couple of days in the high 50s.
This is literally the perfect weather for your wardrobe. The summer dresses are nice and wool winter coats can be decently adorable, but the light cardigans, light scarves, leather booties, and leggings wearable in this weather can make every outfit creative and fun to put together.
There are so many combinations to what you can do in this not-cold but not-warm weather, and there is really not much you can wear that will look out of place.
This outfit is simple and understated, but the scarf gives a splash of color and for a 65 degree day, the level of layers is perfect.

This one is good for Miami because the floral patterns keep the season in perspective with the sun shining in the sky, but the scarf and cardigan provide some protection from the slightly chilly breeze.

This one takes the trendiness up a notch by incorporating high-heeled lace-up boots and jeans in a unique fade. The animal pattern on the scarf also screams trendy.

And for those days in the high 50’s, this more heavily layered on top outfit is perfectly matched with sheer tights so that you can still enjoy the breeze on your legs while staying warm.

And although I love this weather, I still feel that nostalgia for a “winter” feel. I’m getting my winter fix burning winter candles in pine, peppermint, cranberry, and cinnamon.

I’m also drinking flavored hot chocolate on nights when the AC is turned up high.

So, regardless of where you live, enjoy the winter season for what it can be in whatever climate surrounds you. The holiday season won't last forever!
