Everyone has plain tops and nude/tan basics in their wardrobe which are indisputably useful, key pieces due to their obvious versatility. The problem is they really don’t make much of a statement when worn all at once, as basic staples so often are. . . in such cases, throwing a fitted or cropped denim jacket over the ensemble is the perfect way to give an otherwise-bland workday outfit a flirty, casual twist.
