Unusual Fashion Attraction: French Connection and Sears
Fashion has had some strange collaborations in the past, but I honestly never saw this coming: Sears and French Connection joining forces! Well, Target and H&M have been working with fashion power houses like Rodarte, Anna Sui, and Jimmy Choo for awhile now, so it's kinda cool to see Sears joining in on the fun. Sears will be launching a new clothing line called UK Style by French Connection next Spring 2011, which will featured clothing for women, men, and children. It's the latest marketing effort in Sears' attempt to recapture the attention of the younger fashion market and I feel that it is a good one. I grew up with a Sears within a 10 minute driving radius of my house, but I never wanted shop there for their clothing. To me, nothing fit my body right, so after one or two attempts, I just stopped trying. Just to get a peep at this collection though, I know I'll be popping into a Sears next Spring.
