Trendy Threads Tuesday: July 4th Weekend!

Whether you are celebrating our country's birth pool side, grill side, or beach side,  you've got to sport some Red, White, and Blue. You can go as wild and crazy or simple and chic as you want this weekend, as long as those are your colors though your outfit will fit right in. Since you have the opportunity to dress with a little more flair than usual, why not take it? Starting with a base of jean shorts or white shorts is always great. They'll work for any setting from parade watching in the morning, to fireworks at night. To spice things up though, you can throw in some metallic silver instead of just white. These metallic silver flip flops do the trick nicely. On top try some layers. You can sport a bathing suit and top, or a flashy bandeau top. Here is a perfect red and white sequin bandeau top--looks like it was made for a great 4th of July BBQ! Layer a sheer or burn-out top on top. This will show off your bathing suit or bandeau, while still providing some cover. To top it off, wear a great leather belt. As an accessory it will add to the outfit without taking away from the layers you're trying to show off. Don't forget the sun screen because you'll be looking hot!
