Sweat Shop cafe in Paris is a sewing fanatic and coffee lover's fantasy come true. Here you can rent sewing machines and chat over a latte while you design and spin your heart's desire.
Opened by Martena Duss and Sissi Holleis, a Swiss makeup artist and an Austrian fashion designer, the pair wanted to create a friendly place in which budding seamstresses and young designers could practice their art while mingling with like-minded individuals. How it works is you can borrow a Singer sewing machine at 6 euros an hour and work away.
Kind of makes me wish I could sew.
