I am the biggest bargain shopper there is. I have been known to only shop in the sale or clearance racks; what can I say, it’s where I find the coolest things. A vest of something from last season can be the perfect piece to transform an outfit. Not only am I a bargain hunter when it comes to clothes, I’m great at figuring out the perfect combination of hair, makeup, and jewelry to go with the outfit. Though I have been known to go a little overboard with jewelry, there really isn’t anything wrong with that.
Back to my shopping on a budget: I’m a college student and basically have no money which means my favorite store is Wal-Mart (though even before I got to college it was my favorite store.) They have the best deals and their clothes are just asking to be transformed and added onto. I love their solid-colored long sleeve t-shirts that can be used in so many different ways. Add a great scarf or some fun jewelry, and there you go. Add your favorite skirt or jeans and now you have the perfect outfit. Oh, but don’t forget the cherry on top of every outfit (or should I say the cherry on bottom) which can only mean one thing: SHOES! A pair of fabulous shoes can totally make a great outfit that much better. And in the end, you can have the perfect outfit all for a low price (at least that’s how I do it.)
When it comes to supermodel beauty, well, that’s I one thing I don’t have. I’m a curvy little thing with long curly hair and bushbaby brown eyes, and there is nothing I love more about myself than those features. I know how to make clothes fit my curves and how to do my hair so that it frames my face. And lastly, I know how to do my makeup so that my huge brown eyes look their best. So if you’re like me, I’m going to give you my quick eye makeup playbook. First you will need purple eyeliner (pencil), black eyeliner (liquid), a light pink shimmer eye shadow, purple eye shadow and lastly black mascara. The purple liner goes on the bottom lid, the black liner goes on the top lid. The pink shadow sweeps form the inner corner of the eye to about mid-lid where the purple shadow continues from where you left off with the pink to the edge of the outer end of the eye. Then just add as much mascara as you like and there you go a quick and easy eye make-up! Until next time...
