While fur, feathers, and leather may be staples in high-end fashion, we can all admit they aren’t the best materials in terms of treatment to our animal friends. Natalie Portman, a vegan and animal right’s activist when not acting, has done something to try to amend this. Paring up with Te Casan, Portman has created a full line of vegan footwear. Now presumably they are a lot better quality than previous vegan options. Check them out, among her styles are:

Paloma pump, $275 (red); Petra pump, $265 (silver)
Pippa pump, $265 (red); Poppy pump, $255 (pewter)
Personally, I am not in love. I love the idea of being more animal-friendly while retaining the design and high-end quality of luxury fashion, however these shoes seem too simple!! Would you buy any of them, or would you rather spend your $300 buy cuter shoes? I’d love to help the animals but did Natalie have to make it so unappealing to do so?
