Invigorate Your Look with 2011 Spring Beauty Trends

As winter comes to a close, I find myself trying to uncover new ways to “revitalize” my look.  Buying new clothes would be one of those things I would normally undertake, but if you don’t want to go out and spend a lot of money,  play around with new hair and makeup ideas instead. Check out these Spring 2011 beauty trends that are guaranteed to transition you into full Spring fashion:

1) Eye Popping Lip Color: Bold shades are a great way to liven up your look. Try everything from matte to super slick.

2) Clip it back: Like wearing your hair down? Next time pin a few pieces back with a cute clip.

3) Vivid Eyes: Smokey eyes are great, but for spring trade in your black eye liner and add a little color with rainbow liners and shadows.

4) High Bun: A simple hair style that can be worn for any occasion. Dress it up or down for a fresh look.

5) Strong Brows: Like the natural look? Then strong brows might be for you. Use a shadow ½ a shade darker than your brow color and blend. Your eye brows should be the focal point so keep your makeup nude and natural.

6) Sleek and Shine: Add a little gel and hair spray to create a polished look.

7) Thick Lashes: Lush lashes are all the rage on and off the runway. Coat lashes with two different mascaras, (1) a volumizing mascara and (2) a lengthening mascara to achieve lash perfection.

8) Ultra Volume: Add some volume to your hair. This is one hair trend that never goes out of style.

9) Windswept Cheeks: Majority of us have been taught to leave a “hint” of color. Now it’s time to change it up. Try contouring your cheeks with a highlight of strong color.

10) Extreme side parts: Always part your hair down the middle? Try parting your hair on the side for a stream lined look.
