French style is very unique. It defends the freedom of mixing different designers. The French are not afraid of being different from each other -- that's why we have so many unique personal styles. There is no doubt that Paris is one of the most fashionable cities in the world to shop in. Everyone can find their own style here: sporty, trendy, classic, hippy-chic or chic & casual.
I'm currently really interested in these two talented bloggers' works: James Bort and Garance Doré. They understand the concept of "the moment"!
I chose some photos of my favorite Parisians in their ever-stylish, classically chic ensembles. French fashion style is so incredibly sleek. That's the term I like to associate with French women's wear. The main reason why I chose to make a post on this is to simply inspire you to implement the "less is more" philosophy we French women have had for several decades.
The French have been the pioneers of chic fashion for hundreds of years. From Chanel to Givenchy, they all share the same vision -- smart, timeless, sophisticated, refined yet feminine style You can easily notice French simplicity in their daily clothes. What really sets the French apart from everyone else is their sense of style, but not necessarily their sense of fashion. "Style" and "fashion" are two different things. Style is more of how one mixes clothes to present one's personality, not to mention one's best features. Fashion is something that can be bought.
It's exciting to see what fashionistas on the other side of the world are wearing, isn't it?
