Easter Inspirations

Remember when you were little and painted Easter eggs with pretty yellow, blue, purple and pastel colors? Now you can do the same thing with your makeup, hair and wardrobe!

When it comes to eyes, my best advice is to experiment with the pastel colors and see what works best for you. First, apply foundation to your lids so that your eyeshadow will stay on longer and will have a smoother application. Then line your eyes top and bottom (or choose) with a black eye liner to make them pop.

Choose two pastels to cover the part of your eyes closest to your eyebrows with a 2/3 and 1/3 ratio. Then paint the area below with another pastel shade. If you want to subdue the look, mix brown eyeshadow into the colors. You can also line the lower bottom of your eyes with a pastel blue, or extend the color out to the sides of your eyes. Finish the look with black mascara. There's no one right way to do this so have fun!

Clothes:

Choose styles that have ruffles, flowing sleeves, bows and embroidery. Nothing can be too feminine for this look!  In order to avoid looking like the Easter Eggs in your basket, I would stick to two pastel colors on your outfit. If you have a flowing angel top, pair it with fitted jeans or black jeggings. It's important to not wear too much billowy clothing too. Cinch the waist with a belt or wear a tight tank top if you have a flowy ankle length skirt.

 Hair:

Pretty waves would look great for this look. The best curls come from a french braid that's left in overnight with hair spray.

A greek-like hair piece would add a fun touch to the look!

Shoes:

Your choice of footwear is up to you. For a nighttime look, some pastel pink heels would look great. Sea foam green flats can be fun for a daytime accent.
