I would definitely consider myself a fairly conservative dresser. I rarely show off my chest, always cover up when I'm wearing leggings, and never wear tight tops (I love flowy shirts and loose sweaters, what can I say?) But, there is part of my body that I don't mind showing off because I still look classy doing so--my back!! When putting this trend to good use, I still appear put-together but the pop of skin is unexpected and makes my outfit way more interesting. Recently, I scored 2 sweaters (both extremely discounted which made me love them even more) at H&M that I had never seen at the store before but instantly fell in love with. Both were definitely unique and could be dressed up or down and I felt so lucky that I could snag both. Each one shows off my back in just the right way. Here are pictures of each one from the coolest angle: obviously, the back!
Love this one! The front looks like a chunky, cute, sweater but the back makes it even better. Depending on how I move, more of my back is revealed. (Sorry for bad picture quality!)
Such a soft sweater in a pretty cream color. The front even has some pretty line-detailing at the sides. But of course, the back detail makes the sweater. (It's also wrinkled, sorry!)
The revealing-back look works with dresses, tops, and sweaters alike. Here are some choices:
