Knits are all the rage, and the bigger and more over-sized they are the better! Match a pair of skinny jeans with a over-sized, long knit sweater. Top Models of 2010

It takes more than a pretty face, a gorgeous body, a great walk, and a fab pose to become a model. But what does it take to become a top model? These models know for sure! Find out who the top models are for the year 2010:

Agyness Deyn. She’s definitely a top model of 2010, what with her quirky short hair and her unique choice of clothes. She struts the streets in ensembles that would have been difficult for us regular Janes to pull off. She’s unique, she knows it, and is unashamed about it.

Agyness Deyn

Freja Beha Erichsen. She's one of the top models for 2010 because she represents androgyny while staying beautifully female. She is comfortable with having a boy's physique and is lauded for being cool about it.

Freja Beha Erichsen

Lara Stone. She deserves to be one of the top models of 2010 because she has her flaws but chooses to flaunt them. She is known for having a gap between her two front teeth, which actually became an endearment more than a nuisance in her career. And for someone who can fit into small clothes, she has been blessed with a chest that we can only wish for. :)

Lara Stone

Gisele Bundchen. Gisele makes it to our list as one of the top models of 2010… and she makes to everybody else’s list. After all, she has the highest salary as a model, ever. But that’s no surprise, what with her great tan and devil-may-care hair. Gisele has been an ambassador for Christian Dior, Versace, and Valentino, among many others – you know she has staying power because she’s not a new face but she’s definitely going to be around for quite some time.

Miranda Kerr. But who doesn’t love this Victoria’s Secret model? Deserving of being called a top model of 2010, Miranda also believes in saving the planet and living an earth-friendly lifestyle, which makes her a role model as well. :)

 Miranda Kerr

Kate Moss. The list of top models of 2010 will not be complete without the iconic Kate Moss. She lives a model’s life, which has become both her strength and weakness. Kate Moss is a favorite not only because of the trends she has set, but also because she gives hope to us more petite women (she’s only five feet seven). This list of top models for 2010 will be sorely incomplete without Kate Moss. She doesn’t just model fashion; she lives it!

7th Annual CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards

The CFDA or Council of Fashion Designers of America and Vogue recently held its 7th Annual Fashion Fund Awards at Skylight Studios in New York. As expected, almost everyone who's who in the fashion industry was present in the event. Some of the guests were Carey Mulligan, Leighton Meester, Kim Kardashian, Mary Kate Olsen, Ed Westwick, Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel Iman and Carolina Herrera.

The Fashion Fund program pioneered in 2003 with the intention of helping out up and coming talented designers. Over 100 design businesses applied this year and the Selection Committee chose 10 worthy finalists, whose names were announced last July. The prize? Full-on support for the designer including useful resources and meetings with business mentors. Naturally, a cash prize is also awarded to the winners. This year, $300,000 was given to the winner and $100,000 for the runners-up. The cash prize increased significantly, a decision made by CFDA President Diane von Furstenberg and Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour. I'm sure all the finalists were very excited about that.

The highlight of the night was surely the awards time when Karl Lagerfeld was joined by Carey Mulligan on stage to announce and award the winners. The runners-up were jewelry designer Eddie Borgo and RTW designer Prabal Gurung, who both received the cash prize and a special bronze egg made by acclaimed sculptor Rachel Feinstein. The winner of this year's Fashion Fund Award is Billy Reid, a very talented designer who was also named 2010's Best Menswear Designer by GQ.

In every event (fashion-related or not), the age old question "Who was best-dressed?" will always be present. So who was the best-dressed? Well, it's kind of hard to answer if all the candidates are either A-List celebrities or fashion veterans. Nevertheless, everyone was looking chic and fab. More importantly, everybody was showing support to a commendable cause - keeping fashion alive.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Pair these styles with your tried and true outfits for the perfect antique touch.

The cloche hat originated in the roaring 1920s and until now hasn’t made a major resurgence in the fashion world. Coming from the French word “bell,” these hats that fit close to the head are usually made of felt. Find a cloche with quirky touches like feathers and bows for a chic alternative to the common beanie hat.

In decades past, scarves were tied primly around the neck of housewives or used to hold back the hair of ladies cruising in convertibles. While silk scarves have never quite gone out of fashion, traditional ‘50s-inspired printed scarves are back in a big way. Update the look now by loosely draping them around necks or wearing them as turban-style head wraps.

Forget the latest It Bag in favor of a classically constructed tote that will never go out of style. Back in the day, boxy frame bags were all the rage and many bags that are coming out now are a throwback to that style. Stick with a leather or suede bag with a chain strap or a short handle.
