Anti-Aging Ice Cream to Come to a Store Near You


Yes, ladies, it is true. A few weekends ago, execs from Ben & Jerry's ice cream met with top US scientists to discuss the development of anti-aging ice cream -- ice cream flavors with anti-aging properties in them. Unilever, the giant global brand leader, and Ampere Life Science will be working together to create the yummy treats, but consumers probably won't see any results for at least 5 years. Anyone interested in trying it when it comes out?

Lauren Conrad Launching Another Clothing Line


Already with two fashion lines under her belt, Lauren Conrad will be launching her third one. She's stated that it's a contemporary women's line, with lots of basics. "This will be more specialty basics, more of a boutique line. It will be at a higher price point. It will be very different [than my current Kohl's line],” Conrad's said. LC fans will be able to view the process on reality tv, after she starts filming October. The new reality show will center on the star building her new fashion brand from ground up.

House of Dereon Will Start Selling Tattoos


Beyoncé and Tina Knowles are working with airbrush makeup firm Temptu to launch a limited edition collection of temporary tattoos that will be sold under the Deréon label. Coming this Fall on November 1, the tattoos will be available in both deluxe and basic packages. (Basic kits will retail at $16 and will be sold at Sephora stores in the US and Canada, sephora.com, temptu.com and dereon.com. The deluxe package ($34) will be available only on tempty.com and dereon.com.

“With a Sixties-pinup-girl meets-futuristic-biker-chick theme, Beyoncé and I really wanted to give our Deréon fall 2010 campaign a tough edginess,” said Tina Knowles, Deréon’s founder, creative director and designer. “We decided to invite Temptu to help us create custom body art for her to model with our fashions." Designs will include pretty jewels, spiders, bolts and chains, and more.
