If there is one thing I am known for around my friends, it
is that I layer everything. So when I find a designer that perfectly puts
together my dream wardrobe, it tends to be a big deal for me. The designer is
Gary Graham. Gary Graham has had his own label for ten years but I only just
noticed him in Vogue’s Top Test for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Grand Prize.

The model in the magazine is wearing the most adorable faded plaid dress with a thin double wrapped belt and a pale blue striped jacket. The outfit contains two pieces of clothing that I wouldn’t normally put together but it just works perfectly.

I knew instantly that I needed to see more. After catching my breath and then looking through some of his collections, it became clear that Gary Graham is my fashion soul mate. The colors he uses for his spring 2010 range from pales hues of cream and to bold blacks and crimson. His designs are elegance mixed with a hint of edge. Layering can tend to look sloppy and overdone, but Gary Graham has managed to find the perfect balance in his Spring 2010 collection. I’m not sure girls, but I think I’m in love
